Having reached a major milestone in my life in 2009, I embarked on a new stage in my life, celebrating the goddess inside and letting her shine through in many different ways. As a 5'10" woman, unlike Aryn, I spent most of my life avoiding heels, however I've always loved boots! I can remember the first time I saw Aryn slip on "those" shoes and knew instantly that I wanted a pair of my own. When something as simple as a pair of shoes can bring out a side of you that often remains hidden, it's a special thing and something that I feel everyone needs to experience. The shoes are my passion... and I want to share that passion and empowerment with all women. I'm very lucky to have found friends to share my passion with - we share a vision and a goal that is truly unique and very special. My glamorous goddess often takes a back seat to being a mom to three young children and a wife to my awesome, very supportive and understanding husband. When not working, organizing events or volunteering, I'm training for triathlons and practicing my pole skills. I love the Sisterhood's Girly Nights and spending time with "the ladies", including my great friends and super business partners, Rebecca and Aryn. | |

Being 5'3", I've spent most of my adult life
in high heels. I love how they make me feel and how they can change
even a pair of jeans into a knock out outfit. I also spend most of my
life trying to change the way women view each other in our society.
If we as women learned to accept each other and find the beauty in each
other, we would be a force to be reckoned with! When I met Rebecca
and Michelle, we formed a bond that was so very unique. We learned to
appreciate each other and cheer on each other's accomplishments and
found strength and joy in each other's endeavors. So it was only
natural that we decided to bring this same philosophy to a business!
We thought, "what a better way to do this than to find quality,
beautiful shoes to let the goddess in every woman shine." Then we
took it a step further and decided that we wanted every woman to have
the same feeling when she left and experience with us,"I've never felt
so alive, beautiful, and ready to take on the world!"Aside from my passion and love for shoes, I am a mother of 1 amazing little boy who is 5 years old. Wife to the most amazing man on earth and I spend any free moment I have flying in aerial arts - pole fitness, aerial hoop, and aerial silks. I am always thrilled with new shoes and I can't wait to meet all the new, amazing women there are out there just waiting to buy another pair of shoes (which we never NEED by the way, but why not if they make us feel like a goddess!) |

![]() Ironically, 3 years ago I never would have thought I'd ever wear another pair of heels again - let alone a pair of drop dead gorgeous platform stilettos! But then the last three years have seen huge changes in my life, both physically and spiritually. And believe me when I say, heels are spiritual, baby. It was during this amazing time that I met Aryn and Michelle, two incredible women who challenge me to live the largest life I can - and I love them for it! I really believe that people come into your life just when they are supposed to and when you need them. I consider myself truly blessed to call them my friends. How Sole Sisters evolved from and through this friendship felt very organic and natural to me. We could see the changes in ourselves through the shoes, and then through others - it just made sense to want to share that joy and passion. So that's what we're doing! Every woman should feel beautiful and celebrate that beauty. When I'm not in my heels, I'm a mother of 4 (it's easier to chase them in my bare feet) - a 6 year old boy, a 4 year old boy and 2 year old twins (boy and a girl). Motherhood is certainly the hardest but most rewarding job there is. I'm wife to an incredible man who supports me and uplifts me (thank you baby!). I'm a triathlete and currently training for an olympic sized event. I'm a graphic artist and web designer. I volunteer on a board of directors for a non-profit preschool and afterschool care. I practice yoga. I LOVE pole fitness and hope to get better and expand my skills into the aerial arts. I love to try new things all the time and Live, with a capital "L"! My amazing Grandmum sent me a card (filled with diaper coupons) and the front of it said, "Life is not about finding yourself - it's about creating yourself". And doing it in a killer pair of shoes! |
